In honor of Cpl Ben Defonce, Poppy’s Bites and Barrels partnered with The Independence Fund to provide an all terrain track wheel chair to Sgt. Andrew Anthony. The Independence Fund is committed to empowering our nation’s catastrophically wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty.
In October of 2021, BA1: For the Fallen a private select bourbon from Maker’s Mark was released. Wear Blue: Run to Remember’s mission is to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military through active remembrance. Poppy’s Bites and Barrels is proud to be a partner with the North Carolina VFW in support of the “Buddy” Poppy program. The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. Wear a poppy to honor those who have worn our nation's uniform.
